reduce

PURPOSE

reduce reduces the resolution of an image by an integral factor in x and y.

TYPICAL USAGE

reduce -factor 8 -input in.tif -output out.tif

COMMAND LINE OPTIONS

-factor int_reduction_factor

specifies the scaling factor by which the mask will be reduced.  This must be an integer.

-input input.[tif | pgm | jpg]

specifies the input image to be read in.

-output output.tif

specifies the output image that will be written.
